KEA UGCET 2026 2nd Round Seat Allotment Result Released At kea.kar.nic.in; Admission By August 28
KEA has announced the UGCET 2026 second-round final seat allotment results for Engineering and other UG courses. Candidates can check their allotment on kea.kar.nic.in and complete choice selection, fee payment and admission by August 28.
KEA UGCET 2026 2nd Round Seat Allotment Result: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the final second-round seat allotment results for UGCET 2026 on August 24. Candidates who have been allotted seats in Engineering, Architecture, Yoga and Naturopathy, Farm Sciences, Veterinary, B.Sc Nursing, B.Pharma, Pharm-D, BPT, BPO and Allied Health Sciences courses can now log in to the official KEA website, kea.kar.nic.in, to check their allotment status.
The admission process for candidates allotted seats in the second round will be completed between August 25 and August 28. Candidates are required to select their choice, pay the applicable fee and report to the allotted college within the prescribed timeline.
KEA UGCET 2026 candidate options
According to the KEA notice dated August 24, candidates allotted seats in the second round have only two options - Choice-1 or Choice-4.
Candidates opting for Choice-1 must accept the allotted seat and complete admission at the concerned college. They can also remain eligible to participate in the third round, subject to the schedule and conditions announced by KEA.
Candidates who do not want to retain their second-round seat and wish to participate in the third round can cancel the allotted seat by paying a Rs 5,000 penalty. They will then have to register afresh and pay the applicable registration fee to participate in the third round.
KEA UGCET 2026 admission dates
Candidates who have been allotted seats should keep the following deadlines in mind:
Second-round final seat allotment result: August 24
Choice selection and fee payment: August 25 to 27
Last date to report to the allotted college: August 28
Candidates choosing Choice-1 are required to mandatorily take admission to the allotted seat.
UGNEET 2026 seat allotment update
KEA has also issued an update for candidates participating in the UGNEET 2026 counselling for medical and dental courses.
The first-round provisional seat allotment results for medical and dental courses were announced on August 23. Candidates who have secured a seat through the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and intend to join that seat can now exit the KEA counselling process without paying a penalty.
The exit facility will remain available on August 25 and 26. Candidates must log in to the KEA website and select Choice-4 (Exit).
The move is aimed at making medical and dental seats vacated by candidates who opt for MCC-allotted seats available to other eligible candidates.
Candidates are advised to regularly check the official KEA website for the detailed schedule and further instructions.
