Admissions to the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) for the January 2025 academic year have been begun. Students can now apply for a range of undergraduate, graduate, diploma, certificate, and doctoral programs through Open and Distance Learning (ODL). Applications from interested parties must be submitted by January 31, 2025, at the latest.
Furthermore, continuing students will be able to re-register by January 31, 2025, having started the procedure on December 2, 2024.
How to check?
Step 1: Go to ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in, the official IGNOU admissions website.
Step 2: To register as a new user, click the link, or if you are already a user, enter your login information.
Step 3: Provide accurate contact, academic, and personal information on the application form.
Step 4: From the list of available courses, pick the program you want to enrol in.
Step 5: Provide the necessary files, such as scanned copies of your diplomas, signature, and photo.
Step 6: Pay the application cost.

To apply for IGNOU's 2025 admission, you'll need to submit the following documents:
- Educational Certificates: High school (10th) certificate and marksheet, Higher secondary (12th) certificate and marksheet, and Bachelor's degree and marksheets.
- Photo ID Proof: A valid photo ID proof, such as a passport, driving license, or voter ID card.
- Recent Passport-Size Photographs: A few recent passport-size photographs.
- Category Certificate: If applicable, a category certificate (SC/ST/OBC).
