GATE 2025 Result To Be Declared Tomorrow; Check Last Year's Cut-Off Marks
GATE Result 2025: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee is scheduled to declare the results of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2025) tomorrow, March 19, 2025. Candidates can check and download the GATE 2025 Result at gate2025.iitr.ac.in.

GATE 2025 Result: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee is scheduled to declare the results of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2025) tomorrow, March 19, 2025. Candidates who took the aptitude test can check and download the GATE 2025 Result at gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
In order to access the GATE 2025 Result, candidates will have to enter their credentials details such as their enrollment ID and password on the portal.
Candidates can download the GATE 2025 scorecard for free from March 28 to May 31. After this date, candidates will have to pay Rs 500 per test paper to download their scorecards.
GATE 2025 scorecard will be provided to the candidates who have secured equal to and above the qualifying marks mentioned for the SC, ST, or PwD category of the respective paper. The scorecard will be provided with the candidate's marks obtained in each section of the exam, the total score, and the All India Rank (AIR). Candidates who fail to achieve the qualifying marks will not receive a scorecard for GATE 2025.
The cut-off of GATE is decided based on several factors, such as the number of seats available, the number of candidates, the level of difficulty of the exam, and other factors.

Electronics & Communication Engineering (EC)
- General: 25

- SC/ST/PWD: 16.6
Computer Science & Information Technology (CS)
- General: 27.6
- OBC-NCL/EWS: 24.8
- SC/ST/PWD: 18.4
The examination held in computer-based mode on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025, consisted of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Multiple Select Questions (MSQs), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions. The provisional answer key was issued on February 27, 2025, and the objection window closed on March 1, 2025.
