GATE 2025 Application Window Closes Tomorrow: Submit Forms By October 7
The exam will be held on February 1, 2, 15, and 16. Applicants need a relevant degree or certification and specific documents for registration.

The online application process for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2025) will close tomorrow. Candidates who haven't yet applied can submit their forms with a late fee until 11:59 PM on October 7 at gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The regular application window closed on October 3.
During the extended period, the application fee is ₹1,400 for SC, ST, PwD, and female candidates, and ₹2,300 for all others. In the regular window, fees were ₹900 for the former group and ₹1,800 for others. Applicants can choose a maximum of two test papers.
GATE 2025 is scheduled for February 1, 2, 15, and 16, with exams held in two shifts each day. The detailed schedule and admit cards will be released later.
Eligible applicants must have a degree in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Arts, or Humanities, or be in their third year or higher in undergraduate studies. Professional certifications equivalent to BE/BTech/BArch/BPlanning degrees, approved by MoE, AICTE, UGC, or UPSC, are also accepted.
