CAT 2025 Notification Released; Check Application Fees And Other Details Here

CAT 2025 Notification: The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025 notification has been released. Applicants interested in pursuing an MBA from IIMs and other prominent business schools in India can register on the CAT official website at iimcat.ac.in from August 1, 2025.

The exam will be conducted in test centres spread across around 170 test cities. Applicants have to select any five test cities in order of their preference. The list of cities may be subject to changes based on the discretion of the CAT authorities.

CAT 2025: Important dates

1. Registration starting date: August 1, 2025, at 10 am

2. Registration closing date: September 13, 2025, at 5 pm

3. Admit card downloading date: November 5 to November 30, 2025

4. Exam date: November 30, 2025

5. Result date: First week of January, 2026 (tentative)

Eligibility criteria

Those who have finished their undergraduate degree from a qualified university or institution with at least 50% marks are qualified to apply.

Documents required

Applicants are required to upload several documents, such as:

1. Class 10 and 12 mark sheets

2. Graduation mark sheet

3. Work experience certificate (if applicable)

4. Photo identification

5. Passport-size photograph

6. Signature

7. Category certificates such as SC/ST/PwD certificates (if relevant)

Note: Final year students must also upload a certificate from their institution.

To register for this online application, candidates need to follow the steps given below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of IIM CAT at iimcat.ac.in.

Step 2: Now, click on the 'New Registration' link and then enter the valid email ID and other details.

Step 3: After this, fill out all the information in the CAT 2025 application form with correct details.

Step 4: Next, upload the necessary document, make the payment and then submit.

Step 5: Download the confirmation page and take a printout of the same for further reference.

Application fees

The registration fee for CAT 2025 is as follows:

1. General category candidates: Rs. 2,600

2. SC, ST, and PwD categories: Rs. 1,300

Note: Online payment options for the charge include UPI, net banking, and credit or debit cards. In order to sign up for the exam, payment must be made during the application procedure.
