Exams for Bihar Board Class 10 in 2025 are scheduled for February 17–25, 2025. The exams will be administered in two shifts: from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the first shift and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the second.
Examinees are expressly forbidden from wearing shoes and socks in the examination room, according to the criteria for the Bihar Board Class 10 exam and the directions on the Bihar Board 10th admit card 2025. As a result, the board has requested that applicants enter the testing facility wearing slippers rather than shoes and socks.
“In the described scenario, all concerned are directed that no change has been made in the provision, that is, candidates are completely prohibited from entering the examination hall wearing shoes and socks. Accordingly, it is mandatory to follow it strictly,” BSEB added.
BSEB Matric Exams 2025: Reporting time
In its announcement of the 2025 Bihar Board exam schedule, BSEB stated that first-shift applicants should attend the centre 30 minutes prior to the exam, which means they should arrive at 9 am for the first shift and 1:30 am for the second. Applicants who arrive late will not be permitted to enter the testing room. The gates will close 30 minutes before the exam, and entry will open one hour before it starts.
“It is informed that all the candidates should enter the examination centre 1 hour before the scheduled time to avoid crowding and to reach their examination centre on time. The main gate of the examination centre will be closed half an hour before the start of the examination,” it stated.

Additionally, the board issued a warning to students taking the Bihar Board Class 10 examinations in 2025 about illegal trespassing. Students who attempt to enter the exam centre after the exam time with force would be banned for two years and face a First Information Report (FIR).
“If a candidate reaches his centre later than the scheduled time and tries to enter the examination centre by jumping the boundary wall or forcibly and illegally at the gate, it will be considered as a violation of the instructions of the committee and in the category of Criminal Trespass. It will also be considered as a clear attempt to affect the sanctity of the malpractice-free examination and a criminal act,” the board stated.
In addition, the examination centre's supervisor and other designated individuals will be suspended and subject to legal action.
It is required of applicants taking the Bihar Board Matric examinations in 2025 to arrive at the testing location at least one hour before the exam's start time. Half an hour before the exam starts, the main gate of the testing facility will close.
