S&S Power Arm Wins Hitachi Energy Order, Contract Valued At Over ₹8-10 Crore

Mumbai: S&S Power Switchgear Limited has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, S&S Power Switchgear Equipment Limited, has secured a purchase order from Hitachi Energy India Limited.

The domestic order is for supplying isolators for a Dilip Buildcon package linked to a project in Karnataka. The contract is valued at more than Rs 8 crore to Rs 10 crore, according to the company’s regulatory filing.

Supply Schedule Extends Into FY28

S&S Power said delivery under the contract could begin towards the end of the current financial year. The execution period has been scheduled from March 2027 to June 2027.

The order strengthens the subsidiary’s business relationship with Hitachi Energy India. The company described the contract as a significant win that builds on its successful partnership with the energy technology player.

Electrical isolators are switching devices used to disconnect equipment or parts of a power system, to support maintenance and operations. The filing, however, did not disclose the number of isolators to be supplied or other commercial terms.

No Related-Party Link

S&S Power clarified that its promoters, promoter group and group companies have no interest in Hitachi Energy India, which awarded the contract.

The transaction also does not fall within the scope of related-party transactions, the disclosure said. The order has been awarded by a domestic entity.

Disclosure Made Under SEBI Rules

The company informed the BSE and the National Stock Exchange about the development under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015.

S&S Power’s shares are listed under the scrip code 517273 on the BSE and the symbol S&SPOWER on the NSE.

The filing was signed by company secretary and compliance officer Prince Thomas. S&S Power said the order-related information would be made available on its website.

The company did not provide details about the contract’s expected impact on revenue, profitability or its existing order book. Further updates may emerge as supplies begin during the stated execution period.
