BSE Announces Demat Auction For DR-635, Trading Session On May 23

Mumbai: BSE Limited has announced a Demat Auction under Rolling Settlement No. DR-635/2025-26. This auction is scheduled for Friday, May 23, 2025. It is open to all trading members of the Exchange. Members can place their bids through trading terminals during specific hours.
The auction will run in different phases. Auction offer entry is allowed from 2:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. This will be followed by an Auction Matching session from 2:45 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Once the auction offers are matched, the Delivery Statement and report of accepted offers will be available between 3:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. The Money Statement and final reports will be released by 5:30 p.m.
The Pay-in for the auctioned securities will take place on Monday, May 26, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. Members and custodians must fulfill their pay-in obligations on time by transferring securities within depository deadlines.
With the implementation of the Uniform Membership structure, trading members can now offer securities even in settlements where they previously made short deliveries. Care must be taken when entering security codes and rates, as no changes will be allowed afterward. The Exchange holds the right to accept or reject any offer.
Trading members should also keep track of the cutoff rate displayed on the auction screen and refer to any corporate action notices that may affect security status.
