VIDEO: Jabalpur Youth Attempts To Jump Off Tilwara Bridge; Rescued & Beaten By Locals

Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): A youth attempted to jump off the Tilwara Bridge in Jabalpur on Friday. The passersby spotted him climbing the railing of the bridge— also known as the Suicide Point, and raised an alarm. This caused a commotion and people gathered at the spot and intervened to rescue him. 

Amusingly, the locals held him and hurled a few slaps, questioning his decision to end his life!

Following which, the man managed to escape. The man's identity and whereabouts remain unknown. Meanwhile, the cops are investigating this incident on the basis of a viral video

High voltage drama continued for 30 minutes

This entire drama unfolded on Tilwara bridge— also known as the Suicide Point. According to some eye witnesses, the high voltage drama continued for about 30 minutes.

Locals immediately informed the cops but when no officer reached the spot, they decided to take the matter into their own hand. They pulled down the man and thrashed him until he managed to escape.

The police reached the spot about an hour later and searched for the youth, but the youth was nowhere to be found.

A video of about 25 seconds has also surfaced in which the youth is seen climbing the railing.

This is not first such incident on Tilwara bridge, many such cases have come to light before. In view of these incidents, crores of rupees were spent and iron nets were installed, but despite this, such incidents are not stopping. However, the Tilwara police are now looking for the youth and a probe is undergoing.
