Morena (Madhya Pradesh): A major fire broke out in a moving container In Madhya Pradesh’s Morena district on Monday. Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incident, the police said.
The incident took place near Katghar village in Sabalgarh. As soon as the driver noticed the emerging smoke, he jumped out just in time to save his life.
The fire brigade managed to bring the blaze under control after a 30-minute effort. However, by then, the container was completely reduced to ashes.
According to reports, the container was transporting Murram (crushed stone) from Sabalgarh towards Delhi.
As the vehicle approached the Chambal Canal near Katghar village, smoke suddenly began rising from it.

Within moments, the container was engulfed in fierce flames. Acting swiftly, the driver jumped out of the vehicle and escaped without injuries.
Eyewitnesses immediately alerted the police and fire brigade. A fire extinguishing truck reached the scene shortly after and began firefighting operations.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported. However, the vehicle and the goods inside, reportedly worth several lakhs of rupees, were completely destroyed in the fire.
While the exact cause of the fire is yet to be confirmed, a short circuit is suspected.
Sabalgarh police are currently investigating the incident.
