VIDEO: Drunk Drivers Set Friend's Auto-Rickshaw Ablaze After Scuffle In Bhopal; Arrested

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A minor dispute during a drinking session turned serious when two drivers set an auto-rickshaw on fire in the capital city of Bhopal. The incident took place on Tuesday when three auto drivers were drinking during the day. The video is now going viral on social media.

While drinking, an argument broke out between them, escalating to the point where two of the accused later returned on a bike, poured petrol on the victim’s auto-rickshaw, and set it ablaze.

The accused have been identified as Deepak and Bunty, residents of the Shahpura area in Bhopal. Witnesses stated that Deepak and Bunty were drinking with a fellow auto driver named Monu. On Tuesday, during their drinking session, a scuffle broke out. The argument escalated and both the accused hurled abuses at Monu and left, only to return a little while later. Upon their return, they poured a liter of petrol on Monu's auto and set it on fire.

Seeing his vehicle engulfed in flames, Monu lost his temper and, along with a few others, thrashed both accused. The situation turned chaotic as locals intervened. Upon receiving information, the police reached the scene and arrested Deepak and Bunty. Authorities have initiated further legal proceedings against the accused.
