Summer Relief For MP Passengers: Indian Railways Announces AC Special Train Between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus & Samastipur Junction Via Bhopal Division
Indian Railways will run a weekly AC summer special train between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Samastipur Junction from April to July 2026 to meet passenger demand. The train will pass through the West Central Railway route, stopping at stations including Itarsi Junction, Jabalpur Junction and Satna Junction. A total of 13 trips will operate in each direction during the summer season.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The Indian Railways has decided to operate special trains to various destinations at special fares during the upcoming summer season to ensure passenger convenience and meet public demand.
In line with this initiative, Special Train No. 01043/01044—the Lokmanya Tilak Terminus–Samastipur Junction Weekly AC Summer Special—which originates from and terminates at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus under Central Railway, will travel to its destination via the West Central Railway route.
LTT–Samastipur Junction–LTT Weekly AC Special Train (13 Trips Each Way)
Train No. 01043 (LTT to Samastipur Junction Weekly Special):
During the summer season—from April 21 to July 14, 2026—this train will depart from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus every Tuesday at 12:15 PM. It will reach Itarsi Junction at 11:45 PM the same day. On the following day, it will arrive at Jabalpur Junction at 3:10 AM and Satna Junction at 5:50 AM. The train will finally reach Samastipur Junction on Wednesday at 11:45 PM. (13 services)
Train No. 01044 (Samastipur Junction to LTT Weekly Special):
During the summer season—from April 23 to July 16, 2026—this train will depart from Samastipur Junction every Thursday at 3:00 AM. It will reach Satna Junction at 6:40 PM and Jabalpur Junction at 10:15 PM the same day. On the following day, it will arrive at Itarsi Junction at 2:00 AM and will finally reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminus on Friday at 4:25 PM. (13 services)
