Shocker! Dead Body Carried In Garbage Vehicle In Madhya Pradesh's Katni, Video Goes Viral | FP Photo
Katni (Madhya Pradesh): A shocking video has surfaced from Madhya Pradesh’s Katni District Hospital, which shows a dead body being transported in a municipal garbage vehicle.
The body, which remained unidentified for 72 hours after being found in the Kuthla police station area, was sent for cremation, but in an unexpected way.
Instead of using a proper hearse or ambulance, the body was dragged with an iron rod and loaded into a garbage tractor-trolley.
It was then sent to the cremation ground in the open trolley, without any dignity or care.
This sight deeply affected many people, as the body didn’t even receive the basic respect after death, i.e. being carried properly.
What’s more disturbing is that no police staff from Kuthla station were present during the process.
Hearse vehicle was provided
Despite a social service organisation providing a hearse vehicle to the hospital, it wasn’t used for this unidentified body.
This raises serious questions about the sensitivity and functioning of the police, administration, and health department in the district.
When asked about the matter, the Kuthla Station in-Charge avoided commenting on camera.
However, over the phone, he allegedly said that arrangements for transporting unidentified dead bodies were made by the municipal corporation and the same was done in this case. He also claimed that police staff might have been present.
