Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The MBA student from Madhya Pradesh’s Rewa - who was booked for posting an ‘objectionable’ reel on social media reportedly - has issued an appology, emphasising that her reel was taken out of context and she did not intend to hurt religious sentiments. She said she chose to do the video only because the audio was trending.
Posting another reel on Sunday, she clarified that the reel had been misinterpreted and she has no ill intentions against any particular religion or sect. “I respect all and I live among people from all religions, I never meant to hurt anyone and I am extremely apologetic about if I had done it in any way,” she concluded.
The girl also assured that she would not post such reels in future and will be very careful about her reels.
Adding to the apology, she posted a new video on her instagram handle wearing her college uniform on Tuesday on another trending audio which said, “Agar mai tere liye bhai hun, to tu mere liye bhai hai.”
Slammed by netizens
The girl was highly criticized on social media, with the netizens demanding strict action against the MBA student. However, the girl clarified and apologized for hurting religious sentiments unknowingly.

An MBA student from Madhya Pradesh’s Rewa district was booked for posting an ‘objectionable’ reel on social media, the police said on Tuesday.
According to information, a complaint was lodged against the college girl by Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad's city secretary, Harsh Sahu. In his complaint, he alleged that the student is from Rewa's Awadhesh Pratap Singh University. She shared a reel on social media which consisted of a controversial statement of a political leader.
Following the complaint about the controversial post, a case was registered against the MBA student, confirmed Superintendent of Police Vivek Singh.
She was booked under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita sections 353(1) (making, sharing, or spreading of false information or rumours that can cause public mischief), 353(2) (making, publishing, or circulating false information that creates enmity between communities) and 196 (promoting enmity between different groups on ground of religion, race), he said.
