Bhind (Madhya Pradesh): Over a dozen passengers were injured when a private bus overturned on the Gwalior-Etawah Highway. Reportedly, a bicycle came in front of the bus and to save the cyclist, the driver swerved the bus, leading to the accident

Police and ambulances were called to the spot and the injured passengers were rushed to Gohad Hospital for treatment. Police launched an investigation into the matter.

According to information, the bus, with registration number MP30P0627, was traveling from Bhind bus stand to Gwalior with around 50 passengers on board. At around 8 PM, the bus reached Hargovindpura when a cyclist suddenly appeared in its path. In an attempt to avoid the cyclist, the driver swerved, losing control of the bus, which overturned on the roadside.

The accident caused chaos inside the bus. Passersby rushed to help and pulled passengers out of the vehicle. Police and ambulances were notified immediately. One passenger, Tripti Soni, had her hand stuck in the bus window. It took the combined efforts of police and locals nearly 30 minutes to free her. The injured were sent to the local hospital for treatment. Police have launched an investigation into the matter.
