NHAI Approves Purchase Of Two High-Tech Drones To Tackle Stone Pelting & Robberies On Delhi-Mumbai Expressway In Ratlam

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has approved the purchase of two high-quality drones to keep a check on stone pelting and robberies on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway in Ratlam district.

The drones will be equipped with night vision cameras and will cost Rs 7 lakh.

These flying machines will be used to monitor and prevent stone pelting and robberies on the 15-kilometer stretch of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway near Raoti and Shivgarh police station areas in Ratlam district.

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has approved the purchase of two high-quality drones with night vision cameras.

These drones, costing around 7 lakh rupees, will help monitor the highway, especially during the night when most of the crimes take place.

The drones will be able to capture images of criminals using thermal imaging, even in the dark.

The drones will be connected to the police control room, allowing officers to keep track of activities up to a 2-kilometer range.

This will help them spot suspicious behavior and identify criminals involved in stone pelting or robberies.

This initiative is aimed at improving safety on the expressway, particularly in the Raoti and Shivgarh areas, and hopes to quickly catch those responsible for these crimes.
