Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The body of an abandoned newborn was found in Madhya Pradesh’s Bhopal near the Royal Market bridge, just 100 meters from the Koh-e-Fiza police station.
According to information, the body was found during a chamber cleaning operation on Saturday evening by a municipal worker around 7 pm.
As soon as he discovered it, he immediately informed the police.
Police reached the spot, took the body into custody, and sent it for a post-mortem examination. A case has been registered against an unknown person.
Authorities are now investigating who left the baby and why. CCTV footage from the nearby area is being checked to identify the suspect.
