Multai: Plantation drives organised to mark Maa Taapti Janmotsav

While addressing the program, Director of the school, Anish Nair said that for the last 7 years, Maa Tapti Janmotsav week has been celebrated every year by the Teerth Kshetra Trust, which is a commendable initiative.

Multai (Madhya Pradesh): On the fourth day of Maa Tapti Janmotsav Week being organised by Suryaputri Maa Tapti Teerth Kshetra Trust Multai, plantation drive was carried out in New Carmel Convent school and other 100 villages of Multai town in Betul district.

Before the plantation drive, 40 members of the trust including Anish Nair, Dr. Vivek Baraskar and Pandit Jitu Maharaj worship trees in Maa Tapti temple and then reached the premises of New Carmel Convent High Secondary School located on Masod Road where they planted saplings of Belpatra, Neem, Mahua, Mungan, Peepal, Banyan, guava and Gulmohar. While addressing the program, Director of the school, Anish Nair said that for the last 7 years, Maa Tapti Janmotsav week has been celebrated every year by the Teerth Kshetra Trust, which is a commendable initiative.

Different programs are organised for seven days in which programs like placing Maa Tapti Jal Kalash, cleanliness campaign, worshiping of cows and Samarsata Day are prominent. Due to such events, people are getting motivated for environment conservation. When people of the same area work together, then communal harmony is being witnessed at the social level. Dr Rajendra Thakur, member of the trust, who was also present in the event, said that on the fifth day of the festival week, Samarsata festival will be celebrated in which the workers of the trust will visit in different wards and collect khichdi. A large number of trust workers including Dr. Rajendra Thakur, BJP’s District Vice President (backward classes) Kirti Yadav, Ramaji Baniyat, Jayesh Sanghvi, Dr Dharmendra Pawar and Rohit Chikane were present in the program.
