The treasurer of the State Operators Forum stated that thousands of school representatives are expected to join the demonstration.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Private school operators from across Madhya Pradesh are gearing up to stage a protest at Chief Minister Mohan Yadav’s residence on January 10. The protestors are demanding changes to the recently amended school recognition rules.
The protest will be attended by school operators and directors from across the state. The treasurer of the State Operators Forum stated that thousands of school representatives are expected to join the demonstration. Many private schools have already submitted memorandums to the district.
According to information from the Treasurer of the State Operators Forum, Monu Tomar is leading the protest. Tomar revealed that repeated appeals to the Chief Minister, Education Minister, and local MLAs have been ignored. The government has overcomplicated the recognition rules, which is causing severe difficulties for rural schools. The forum is also demanding a rollback of the increased fixed deposit amount requirement, he added.
Many private schools have already submitted memorandums at the district level. Tomar warned that the rigid rules could lead to the closure of several schools in the 2025–26 session, leaving teachers and staff unemployed and affecting children’s education. The forum warned of intensified protests if their demands are not addressed promptly.
