Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): “Kya yuvaon ko naukri milegi? Kya OBC ko arakshan milega? Kya kisaan ko khad milegi?” — These were the sharp questions raised by Congress leaders during a dramatic protest outside the Madhya Pradesh Assembly.
A video of the protest has gone viral on social media.
It shows the Congress workers dressed like ‘buffaloes’ lying still while leaders ask questions and play flutes around them.
Umang Singhar is seen directly comparing the silent buffaloes to the government, saying, “Yeh behens hai, jaise sarkaar hai… hum been bajaa rahe hain, par koi farak nahi pad raha.”

Led by Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar, the party staged the unique act, to highlight what they called the state government’s silence and ignorance on pressing public issues.
Congress says this was their way to show how the government is ignoring the voices of youth, farmers, and backward communities. The party also claimed the BJP is avoiding serious questions and not fulfilling its promises.

Umang Singhar, while addressing the media during the protest, asked, “Will the youth get jobs? Will OBCs get reservation? Will farmers get fertilisers?” He pointed at the costumed buffaloes and said, “This is the condition of the government, unmoved and unaffected.”
