MP IPS Transfers: Upendra Kumar Jain Appointed As DGP EOW; Ajay Kumar Sharma Is New MD Police Housing & Infrastructure Development Corporation

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): With Kailash Makwana taking charge as Madhya Pradesh's new Director General of Police (DGP), the state government announced transfers of senior IPS officers on Wednesday. Ajay Kumar Sharma, a 1989-batch IPS officer and the current DGP of the Economic Offences Wing (EOW), has been appointed as the Chairman of the Madhya Pradesh Police Housing and Infrastructure Development Corporation.

Meanwhile, Upendra Kumar Jain, a 1991-batch IPS officer and Special DGP, who was serving as the Managing Director of the MP Police Housing and Infrastructure Development Corporation, has been posted as the DGP of the Economic Offences Wing.
