Buxwaha (Chhatarpur): A youth lost his leg after a bucket fell from an L&T machine crusher bucket in Nainagiri area under Nainagiri police outpost on Monday. The youth was taken to the Sagar hospital, and his family members blocked traffic on the national highway. On getting information, the police reached spot.
According to reports, the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) is building a road in Buxwaha. On Monday morning, when the LNT machine was digging road near Semra Bridge, the crusher bucket of the L&T machine was entangled in telephone wires.
The driver of the machine called a resident of Semra Sekh, Halkai Yadav, who was passing by the area and asked him to remove the telephone cable. When he was about to remove the cable, the crushes bucket fell on his left leg separating it from his body.
The family members of Halkai and the people’s representatives rushed to spot and blocked traffic on the national highway. In-charge of Buxwaha police station Kripal Marco said some people had blocked traffic near Semra Bridge after the incident.
According to Tehsildar of Buxwaha Bharat Pandey, sub-divisional magistrate of Bijawar, Vijay Dwivedi, rushed to the spot to deal with the situation.
