MP High Court Orders FIR Against Minister Vijay Shah Over Controversial Remarks On Colonel Sofia Qureshi
The court has taken suo motu cognizance of the statement

Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh High Court in Jabalpur ordered a stern action against minister Vijay Shah for the controversial statement against Indian Army officer Colonel Sophia Qureshi.
The court has taken suo motu cognizance of the statement and has ordered to register a FIR against the minister within four hours.
Atul Sreedharan's division bench directed the DGP (Director General of Police) to act immediately and understand the seriousness of this matter. The court wasn't pleased with the minister's comment and termed it as ‘inappropriate.’
Madhya Pradesh high court's Jabalpur bench urged Advocate General Prashant Singh to assure quick action against the minister. The court clearly asserted that such derogatory remarks about someone, serving in the armed forces won't be tolerated. While understanding the urgency of matter the court has scheduled the next hearing tomorrow morning.
