Sheopur (Madhya Pradesh): Four children drowned in a canal in Virpur, about 135 kilometers from the district headquarters, on Sunday afternoon. Out of them, three were rescued and one is still missing, as per the reports.
According to information, the incident took place in Amba Ka Pura Tapra village. The children had gone to bathe in the canal when the accident happened.
The three rescued children were identified as Aman Jatav, Drishti and Devansh.

Locals present at the scene immediately jumped into the canal and managed to rescue three children. However, 13-year-old Divyanshi is still missing.
According to Virpur police station in-charge, Dharmendra Malviya, said that the incident happened right in front of the victims’ homes.
The police, local administration, and an SDRF team from the district headquarters searched for the missing girl until late evening, but she was not found. Due to darkness, the rescue operation was halted on Saturday night.
