MP: Digvijaya Singh Brings Congress, BJP Together For 'Jungle Satyagraha' Screening, Invites CM Mohan Yadav To Watch The Film On Jan 13

The movie will be screened at the Mansarovar Hall in the State Assembly.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Former Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh will host the premiere of the film "Jungle Satyagraha" on January 13 in Bhopal. He has personally invited CM Mohan Yadav to watch the film that shows a historic tribal movement of Madhya Pradesh.

It will be screened at the Mansarovar Hall in the State Assembly. He has invited leaders from both Congress and BJP, including MLAs, MPs, former MLAs, and ministers, to watch the film.

On Saturday evening, Digvijaya Singh went to Chief Minister Mohan Yadav's house to personally invite him. His team has also sent invitations to BJP State President VD Sharma, former Chief Minister Uma Bharti, and other BJP leaders, including ministers and MLAs.

The film "Jungle Satyagraha" tells the story of the 1930 tribal movement in Betul. It shows how tribal leaders like Sardar Ganjan Singh Korku, Sardar Vishnu Singh Gond, Thakur Mohkam Singh, Ramji Korku, and Jugru Gond fought against the British for their rights to water, forests, and land.

Local artists from Betul have made the film. The premiere will take place on January 13 at the Assembly Hall.

Digvijaya Singh has also invited Congress leaders like State President Jitu Patwari, Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar, and others. Congress MLAs, former MLAs, and ex-MPs have also been asked to join the event.

The Speaker of the Assembly, Narendra Singh Tomar, has been invited too. Digvijaya Singh plans to visit Governor Mangubhai Patel to invite him as well.
