MP Chief Minister Mohan Yadav Hoists National Flag In Bhopal On 79th Independence Day, Pays Tribute To Martyrs
He said that Independence Day is a reminder of our duties towards building the golden India that freedom fighters had dreamed of.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav hoisted the national flag at his residence in Bhopal on the occasion of the 79th Independence Day and extended greetings to the people of the state and the country.
In his message, the Chief Minister congratulated everyone on the national festival and paid heartfelt tribute to the immortal martyrs who sacrificed their lives for India’s freedom.
He said that Independence Day is a reminder of our duties towards building the golden India that freedom fighters had dreamed of.
He urged citizens to take a pledge during this Amrit Kaal to contribute their best in building a United India – Great India, Developed India – Self-reliant India.
Independence day in the city
City witnessed grand celebrations on the occasion of Independence Day. People were immersed in the joy of the anniversary of freedom. The main event took place at the Lal Parade Ground, while flag hoisting ceremonies were held at the Collectorate, Municipal Corporation, and several other offices.
Due to Janmashtami, markets in the old city remained open this year, unlike previous occasions, though a mixed impact was seen.
Mayor Malti Rai hoisted the tricolour at the Municipal Corporation office complex located at ISBT.
Municipal Corporation Chairperson Kishan Suryavanshi unfurled the flag at the office complex near Mata Mandir. Mayor Rai also read out the Chief Minister’s message.
Before this, the Fire Brigade staff parade was inspected, and meritorious students of Class 10 and 12 from Municipal Corporation employees’ families were given incentive amounts.
Collector Kaushlendra Vikram Singh hoisted the national flag at the Collectorate, while Commissioner Sanjeev Singh did the same at the Divisional Commissioner’s office. In the District Panchayat, Chairperson Ramkunwar Gurjar performed the flag hoisting.
Officials and employees of the Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited also celebrated the occasion by hoisting the tricolour at the Subhash Nagar depot.
District Panchayat Chairperson Mrs. Ramkunwar Naurang Singh Gurjar and CEO Mrs. Ila Tiwari hoisted the national flag at the District Panchayat office.
