MP: Bhind Ex-Janpad Member Gets Death Threat Calls From Lahore; Caller Warns Him Against Promoting BJP On Social Media
He threatened him that he would not be allowed to leave his house and warned him not to promote BJP-related content on his social media account.

Bhind (Madhya Pradesh): Former Janpad member from Madhya Pradesh’s Bhind Shyam Bihari Baghel filed a complaint stating that he received death threats from Lahore for promoting BJP on social media.
He said that he started getting threatening calls after he posted a congratulatory message for the newly appointed BJP Mandal President, Harpal Singh Rajawat on his social media account.
According to information, the caller introduced himself as Jitendra from Lahore. He has been repeatedly calling Bhagel and used abusive language. He threatened him that he would not be allowed to leave his house and warned him not to promote BJP-related content on his social media account.
The accused further added that if he doesn't stop, the consequences will be too much. While, Jitendra's associate hurled abuses and uploaded the audio on social media.
Case registered against accused
Baghel after receiving the call acted promptly and went to the police station to lodge a complaint. The police after getting the complaint registered started looking for the two accused. The police have also registered a case under two sections 196 and 296 of BNS (Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita).
The police have identified the accused. The police have assured Bhagel that they will take strict actions against the accused. Further investigations are underway.
