More Spa Centres Under Police Radar For Alleged Flesh Trade In Bhopal
The owners of 11 spa centres fled the premises upon learning about the raids.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The Crime Branch has identified 41 spa centres across the city suspected of being involved in flesh trade. These establishments, located in various areas, have been locked down since police launched a crackdown on Saturday night.
In a separate operation, the Crime Branch raided 15 spa centres, detaining 68 persons, including 35 women. However, they were all released after police issued notices to them. The owners of 11 spa centres fled the premises upon learning about the raids.
During a raid at a spa centre in the Bag Sewania area, police apprehended 22 women and 18 men. Several others were detained from spa centres in MP Nagar and Kamla Nagar. Officers found men and women in compromising positions within the spa cabins, along with items like condoms, medicines, and alcohol.
Police reports indicate that one of the identified spa centres in Bag Sewania is operated by a woman. Many of the detained women were from outside the city, with some even hailing from Nepal. ACP Mukhtar Qureshi confirmed that the crackdown would continue, with several other spa centres under investigation for illegal activities.
