Madhya Pradesh: Youth Stabbed To Death Over Love Affair In Bhopal

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A 22-year-old youth was stabbed to death by three persons at Gautam Nagar under Govindpura police station late Wednesday night.

It is alleged that the prime accused in the case is the former boyfriend of the victim’s girlfriend. A case has been registered in this connection and suspects were being questioned, police officials said.

According to reports, hailing from Narmadapuram, Shivam Kalam had come to Gautam Nagar to meet his girlfriend Madhu Patel who lives on rent.

It is alleged that Madhu’s ex- boyfriend Shiv Rajput and his two aides attacked Shivam and then stabbed him with a knife. Locals admitted Shivam to hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.

Govindpura police reached the spot and questioned locals who informed that Shiv Rajput who lives in the same area waylaid the victim.

Meanwhile, in-charge Govindpura police station Awadhesh Tomar claimed that Shivam had came to meet a woman whom he considered as his sister. One Madhu Patel lives on rent in the same house.

Primary investigations reveal that Madhu’s boyfriend Shiv Rajput and his aides assaulted and stabbed Shivam following an altercation. Some suspects in the case have been rounded up for questioning into the incident, he added.
