Government lacks info about number of staffers who have retired without promotion
The government does not have any information about the number of employees who have retired without a promotion. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav gave the information in the House in a written reply to a question raised by legislator Sunil Uike.
A high court order stopped the promotion process, Yadav said, adding that it could not be assessed how many people are eligible for promotion.
Yadav also said the promotion policy was made in June this year. The government will be able to take any decision with retrospective effect on those who have retired without promotion only after receiving a final verdict from the Supreme Court on the issue, Yadav said.
