Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, during his visit to Jabalpur, addressed the media and announced several key initiatives for the state. He stated that the foundation stone for a new Gaushala (cow shelter) has been laid in Jabalpur. The Municipal Corporation will manage the shelter, which aims to provide care for over 10,000 cows.
Highlighting the government's commitment to farmers, CM Yadav announced that wheat procurement this season would be done at ₹2,600 per quintal. Additionally, farmers who cultivated paddy will receive a direct financial benefit of ₹2,000 per hectare in their bank accounts.

Discussing upcoming events, the Chief Minister revealed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Madhya Pradesh on February 23-24. The state government is making extensive preparations for the visit, which is expected to bring significant industrial opportunities. CM Yadav also mentioned the Global Investor Summit, emphasizing its role in boosting industrial development in the state.
Addressing security concerns, the Chief Minister informed that security forces in Balaghat successfully eliminated four Naxal commanders. He reaffirmed the government's commitment to maintaining law and order, stating that Madhya Pradesh will not tolerate any extremist activities. He credited the central leadership, including the Prime Minister and Home Minister, for their firm stance against Naxal movements.
