Madhya Pradesh BJP President Polls May Be Put Off Till GIS 2025

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The election of BJP’s state unit president may be put off keeping in mind the upcoming Global Investors’ Summit (GIS) in the state capital. The election may be held after the GIS in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah will take part.

The party is mulling over holding the election after their trip to the state is over. A month has passed since the district unit polls were held to elect the party’s state president, but the election is being put off for some reasons or the other.

Because of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav’s visit to Japan, and the state party leaders’ engagement in the Delhi assembly election, the election was postponed. Now, there are talks that the election may be held after the GIS.

Narottam’s activeness causes tension to Hemant

Former minister Narottam Mishra has suddenly hogged the limelight ahead of the election to the party’s state president. Senior leaders are meeting Mishra who worked hard for the Delhi assembly election. So, he has become very active in the state.

Mishra’s activeness has caused tension to one of the contenders for post of the BJP’s state president Hemant Khandelwal who has the support of the RSS, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, and other leaders. Khandelwal fears lest his name should be done away with from the contest for Mishra’s activeness. But Mishra has said he is not in the race for the post, and wants the party to continue to give him some work.
