Satna (Madhya Pradesh): A shocking tragedy occurred in Richul village were three young girls from the same family died after slipping into an illegally built mining pit filled with water, the incident happened under the jurisdiction of Jaso police station.
According to the police reports, the girls were playing near the site when they accidentally fell into the deep pit. Rainwater had filled the hole, which had been formed as a result of illicit mining by a local contractor. Because of the depth, the girls drowned before villagers could save them.
Despite rapid efforts by locals, all three were certified dead by the time they were extracted. After receiving the information, Jaso police arrived on the site and opened a case.
