That video had already gone viral across the country, raising questions about the quality of the construction.

Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): Minister Tulsiram Silawat caught himself in an embarrassing situation after media-persons adamantly confronted him about Chetakpuri Mahal road in Gwalior that turned into a rivulet amid rains. Apparently, Silawat skipped inspecting the city’s most controversial road, which has sunk roughly 15 times in 10 days.
This sparked strong reactions from local reporters, who surrounded him and asked tough questions.
A video of the interaction is now going viral on social media.
Check out the video below :
In the video, when asked why he didn’t visit Mahal Road, Silawat replied, “Jaunga, sabhi sarkon par jaunga” (I’ll go, I’ll visit all roads). Reporters pressed further, asking “Kab jaenge, gaon wagaira bhi jaenge?” (When will you go? Will you also visit villages?), to which the minister vaguely said, “Aaj ki date mein ya kal ki date mein jaunga” (I’ll go today or tomorrow), avoiding a clear answer.
As he tried to walk away, he stumbled slightly, and a reporter was heard saying, “Kyo bhaag rahe ho, mantri ji?” (Why are you running away, Minister?). At this, Silawat turned back aggressively, and the scene was caught on camera. The video is now being widely shared online and has brought more attention to the issue.

That video had already gone viral across the country, raising questions about the quality of the construction.
Following the inspection tour, the government suspended four engineers, and a team has been sent from Bhopal to inspect the road.
The team will submit a detailed report to the state government.
