Japan Tour Will Script New Chapter Of Friendship, Says, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that his Japan tour will script a new chapter of friendship between Madhya Pradesh and Japan.
It is a matter of happiness that the state is having trade relations with Japan.
In 2023-24, the state did export of $92.8 million to Japan.
He was addressing an interactive session on Investment Opportunities in Madhya Pradesh on the first day of his Japan tour on Tuesday. The programme was organised at the Indian Embassy.
Praising Japan’s ability to overcome from devastating earthquakes and natural calamities, he said that Japan is connected with the tradition of Gautam Budhha and relations of Japan and India are centuries old.
Inviting industrial groups of Japan to do investment in Madhya Pradesh, he said that the state is having vast opportunities for investment in fields such as food parks, IT Parks, Plastic Parks, Medical Device Park, Solar Equipment Park, EV Park, Textile Parks, Garment parks, Plug and Play park, etc.
He invited local investors of Japan to participate in the two-day Global Investors Summit to be held next month. He said that Madhya Pradesh is having an ideal atmosphere for investment and the state is the second biggest in terms of area.
CM meets Indian Ambassador
After reaching Japan’s capital Tokyo, the CM met Indian Ambassador to Japan, Sibi George and discussed to strengthen ties between India and Japan. He is on Japan tour till January 31.
CM holds discussion with Toyota officials
The CM held discussion with Toyota officials. He discussed potential trade ties with Toshiyuki Nakahara, Department General Manager, Administration and Support Department, India and Middle East Division and Masahiro Nogi, Project General Manager, Administration and Support Department, India and Middle East Division, Toyota Motor Corporation. He said Madhya Pradesh stands as the ideal destination for Toyota to establish facilities and invest in enhancing youth training in technical jobs. In the following days of his tour, CM Yadav will hold one-to-one meeting with investors and will try to woo them.
