Jabalpur Hosts First-Ever 'Jheel Mahotsav' At Bargi Dam, Offers Thrilling Water Adventures & Cultural Nights

15-Day Water & Adventure Festival Begins At The Scenic Bargi Dam |
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Good news for the adventure lovers! A two-week 'Jheel Mahotsav' is being organised to beat the rising temperature in Madhya Pradesh's Jabalpur. The water carnival started from April 5 and will continue till April 20.
The event is organised by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism in collaboration with the Archaeological Tourism and Cultural Council. It promises several Uttarakhand-like thrilling water activities, cultural nights near the backwaters of the famous Bargi Dam.
The event is being held near a village named Deori Bakai on the border of Jabalpur and Mandla districts.
The water festival can prove to be a relaxing experience for people amid this scorching sun of April. Visitors and adventure lovers are experiencing fun and thrilling activities including Water Scooter, Water Surfing, Kayaking, Banana Ride, Ringoride among other enjoyable activities.

The Jheel Mahotsav is already a fun experience for visitors, offering a wide variety of activities. The water carnival not only includes water sports but also features land and air sports. Hot air ballooning, paragliding, slingshot rides, and rock climbing are some of the most eye-catching attractions."
While tourists are enjoying motor boats and other rides in the vast water body of Bargi dam, there is also the thrill of paramotoring outside the water.

All the water sports rides that are available in coastal cities are available in the festival. Adventure sports that are available in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh can be enjoyed in Jabalpur during this Jheel Mahotsav.
People are enjoying adventure games here during the day and in the evening cultural programs like folk songs, folk dances of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan are also being organized.

Rate list for activities
Land activities at Lake Festival start from 50 INR onwards where you can try Burma Bridge and Net Walk. Bungee jumping costs 150 INR per head and fly board cost 1500 INR per head. Whereas air activity ranges between 400 INR to 2000 INR. Water activities starts from150 Rupees to 500 Rupees. Accommodation in tents is available for visitors, which costs Rs. 500 to Rs. 7000 according to tent type and occupancy.
