Gwalior: Police arrest two fraudsters in city; dupes people by modulating into girl’s voice

Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): The city police have arrested two fraudsters who duped people through online mode in Gola ka Mandir area, Gwalior.
Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP Crime) Rajesh Dandotiya said that the action was taken following a complaint lodged by Narendra Bahadur Chouhan on June 27.
Narendra told police that one unknown person asked for a lift from him and then took him to Military Ground Sarla Farm at gunpoint. There were five associates of the accused and they asked him to transfer the money to their account through UPI transaction at the gunpoint.
As there was no money in Narendra’s account, the accused asked one of his associates to transfer Rs 1.25 lakh into Narendra’s account and then transferred to their account through UPI. After that the accused also looted Rs 10,000 cash which was in the pocket of Narendra.
Dandotiya said that the arrested accused were identified as Aditya Bhadauriya, a resident of Gwalior and Sanjay Sengar, a resident of Jalaun, Uttar Pradesh. During interrogation, the accused confessed to committing the robbery with the complainant Narendra Bahadur Chauhan. The police also recovered Rs 48,000 out of the looted amount from them.
Bhola Gurjar is said to be the mastermind of the ganj. Bhola and two other associates were on the run.
During investigation the police also came to know that the accused used to phone people by modulating into a girl’s voice through an app and asked them to meet. Following which when people came to meet, the gang used to rob them. They looted a youth of Maharajpura which was revealed after being arrested.
