Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): Mahakoshal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) in Jabalpur has sent a letter to Chief Minister Mohan Yadav urging him to establish large-scale industries in eastern parts of Madhya Pradesh; an area currently struggling to achieve its industrial potential.
The Chamber has welcomed the economic initiatives of the Chief Minister aimed at industrial development of the state.
MCCI secretary Akhil Mishra stated that Chief Minister Yadav, since the beginning of his tenure, has successfully organised ‘Regional Industrial Conclaves’ in every region to accelerate the state's industrial development.
As a result, a large number of investors showed interest, and many memorandums of understanding (MoUs) were signed.
The Chamber believes it's now imperative to hold follow-up meetings in all regions to facilitate the establishment of industries and the commencement of production by investors as per the signed MOUs.
Mahakoshal region, a hub for the textile industry, green energy, forest products and herbal resources, defence, and international-level tourist destinations, stands to benefit greatly from the increased interest generated by the Chief Minister's visits to attract foreign investors in the textile, green energy, aviation, and tourism sectors.
