Big News for Ratlam! Fast 8-Lane Road To Delhi And Mumbai Coming Soon

Ratlam (Madhya Pradesh): An 8-lane expressway being built under the Bharatmala Project will soon link Ratlam directly with Delhi and Mumbai.

This new road will boost travel speed, trade, and development in the region, and also improve connectivity for nearby areas.

According to information, the full expressway is 1385 km long and is being built at a cost of ₹1 lakh crore. So far, 1000 km of the road has been completed.

The part passing through Ratlam is ready, and once a tunnel in Rajasthan is finished by the end of this year, travel from Ratlam to Delhi by this route will begin.

Traffic has already started on several sections between Delhi and Gujarat. Construction work in Gujarat and Maharashtra is moving quickly, and the entire Delhi-Mumbai route is expected to be ready soon.

In addition, a 713 km four-lane expressway connecting Indore and Hyderabad is also under construction. This will make it easier to travel from Ratlam to Hyderabad via Indore. This new road will cost about ₹15,000 crore.

Ratlam to Become a Logistics Hub

Being in the center of the Delhi-Mumbai route, Ratlam is expected to become a key logistics hub. The expressway will make it easier for industries in the Ratlam investment area to send goods to major markets. The new road is seen as a big opportunity for economic growth in the city.

Future-Ready Infrastructure

The expressway is being built with the future in mind and can be expanded from 8 lanes to 12 lanes by 2075 if needed. It will use a GPS-based toll system, so travelers only pay for the distance they drive.

For safety, CCTV cameras will monitor the entire route, and modern public transport will make travel more comfortable for everyone.
