Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Police are now making efforts to identify people who used to supply drugs and marijuana to the accused involved in rape and blackmailing of girls.
It is suspected that the accused were connected to big drug syndicate active in Bhopal. Sahil and Nabeel who are in police custody are being questioned regarding the peddlers from whom they used to purchase marijuana.
It is worth mentioning that police investigations earlier had revealed that Farhan, Ali and Sahil are addicted to marijuana and even forced victims to consume them. It came to fore that Ali forced one of the victims to smoke marijuana and then left her alone with Farhan in a room where he raped her.
The accused also used to organise parties where they used to smoke marijuana and take drugs and even forced the victims for their consumption.

Moreover, police are also investigating the role of club staff, which used to provide marijuana to Farhan and other accused when they visited the club with the victims.
It is suspected that the accused used to get marijuana from peddlers active in Ashoka Garden and Bag Sewania area.
Police officials said that the persons from whom the accused used to take marijuana were being identified following which action would be taken against them.
