Bhopal: Metro Trial Run Between Rani Kamlapati & AIIMS Station Successful
During the trial, metro rakes ran at a speed of 10 to 20 km per hour. This will gradually be increased as per various testing phases.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A successful Metro trial run was conducted for the first time between Rani Kamlapati and AIIMS station at 5 pm on Tuesday. In its journey, Metro rakes passed through Railway Over Bridge (RoB), DRM Office and Alkapuri station before reaching AIIMS station.
During the trial, metro rakes ran at a speed of 10 to 20 km per hour. This will gradually be increased as per various testing phases. The train consists of three coaches with each measuring approximately 22 metres in length and 20.9 metres in width.
The train is designed for a maximum speed of 90 km/ph. S Krishna Chaitanya, MD, MP Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MPMRCL) congratulated metro officials on the successful trial run.
Team Of 16th Finance Commission Arrives
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A team of 16th Finance Commission led by Arvind Panagariya arrived in the state on Tuesday. On the first day, it went to Sanchi to see the marvellous Stupas built during the period of King Ashoka.
It also went to Udaigiri to see famous caves. Later in the evening, the team members went to CM House and met Mohan Yadav. It is going to stay in the state till March 7 to take stock of the state’s utilisation of Central funds and will look into things related to finance management.
