Bhopal: Agriculture Student Held For Raping Married Woman; The Duo Met On Dating App, Man Reneged On Promise To Marry Her | Representative Image
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Police have arrested a 27-year-old man for allegedly raping a married woman whom he haqd met on a dating app around eight months ago. The man had promised the woman of marriage but backed off later, police said.
As per police, a resident of Piplani area, a 26 year old housewife came in contact with Aman Bhardwaj, 27, of Rewa through a dating app. Aman, a student of agriculture had come to Bhopal on May 5 and took the woman to a hotel and raped her while promising her of marriage. However, the man started avoiding her after he returned to Rewa and stopped taking her calls.
The woman approached police and registered an FIR against Aman. Police officials said that the accused has been arrested and sent to jail.
Hospital staffer raped
In another incident, 25-year-old medical staff at a private hospital was raped by her colleague. The woman alleged that she came in contact with the accused around a year ago. The man promised to marry her and established physical relations with her multiple times. A case has been registered against the man at Nishatpura police station.
