Bhopal ₹1,814 Cr MD Drug Haul: NCB Fails To Seize Property, Cash, Bank A/Cs Of 7 Accused
The NCB has submitted charge sheet in the drug factory case situated in Bagroda Industrial Complex Bhopal, against the seven accused, in the court on April 2.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): In a multi-crore MD drug factory case of Narcotics Control Board, the agency had failed to seize property, cash, jewellery and bank accounts of seven accused of the case. Police have arrested four accused and three are still at large.
The NCB has submitted charge sheet in the drug factory case situated in Bagroda Industrial Complex Bhopal, against the seven accused, in the court on April 2.
On October 5 last year, the NCB and ATS of Gujarat Police unearthed the factory and seized drugs valued at Rs 1,814 crore from the premises. In the charge sheet submitted to court, the details of the operation have been mentioned. It is also stated about the sale of the drug.
But the agency had failed to seize the property and cash earned by them. Officials of other agencies claim that they always seize property, cash and stops operations on banking of the accused. The seizures support the agency in the court to prove involvement of the accused in the crime, through the money trail of the accused. In such a high-profile case, kingpin Shoyeb Lala and two other aides are absconding.
Out of 15 mobiles only 9 seized Shoyeb Lala always used a new number to call them. They used WhatsApp calls and tried not to leave any evidence of their wrongdoing. Sannyal Bane was using three mobiles which were seized by police, Amit Chaturvedi was using three mobiles and police were able to seize only one. Hari Singh Anjana was using two, of which one was seized. Prem Sukh Patidar was using two mobiles and both are missing. Lala was using three mobiles and Om Ji Patidar was using two which are missing. The police did not know from which number Ghyanshyam Meena calls their customers.
Premshukh Patidar’s bail rejected
Special public prosecutor Sunil Shrivastava told Free Press that the court had rejected the bail application of Premsukh Patidar. He also added that the NCB has not seized the property or other assets of the accused of the case. The officials have not mentioned any information about the cash, bank accounts and property details in their charge sheet.
