Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): A shocking incident was reported in Jabalpur where a bank manager allegedly thrashed a woman cashier in the middle of the road. The accused got enraged after the woman introduced the topic of marriage.
The incident occurred around 2 am on Wednesday near Lovely Dhaba, under Panagar police station jurisdiction, Jabalpur. Both-- the manager and the woman had gone to have dinner together, along with a female friend, on Tuesday night.
According to information, the bank manager had an affair with the married cashier. And, when she tried to convince him to tie the knot with her during dinner, accused Utkarsh Joshi got angry. A heated argument broke out between the two, following which he attacked her. He beat her in the middle of the road even as their co-worker tried to stop him.
Woman already married, accused under arrest
Later, the woman filed a complaint at Panagar Police Station, and an FIR was registered against Joshi. Acting on the complaint, the police launched an investigation and arrested the accused.
Both individuals work at a private bank in Dhanwantri Nagar of Jabalpur. The woman, who is already married and originally from Anuppur, came in contact with Joshi during their time working together at the bank.
The case is under investigation.
