Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): An advocate lost his life after accidentally hanging himself while trying to scare his wife during a domestic dispute late Wednesday night. The shocking incident was reported from Katara Hills area in Bhopal.
According to police, the deceased Rajendra Maithil (50), a resident of Centurion Sky Colony, returned home intoxicated late at night. This led to an argument with his wife over his drinking habits. In a fit of rage and to intimidate his wife, he tied a noose around his neck and threatened to commit suicide.

However, the noose tightened and turned fatal before his wife could understand the situation. His wife, witnessing him struggling, immediately called neighbour Rajendra Mishra. The two brought him down and rushed him to AIIMS Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Housewife hangs self
In another incident, a 27-year-old housewife identified as Swati Rajput hanged herself at her home in Durga Nagar under Nishatpura police station limits. She was brought down and taken to hospital where she was declared brought dead. A suicide note was found written on her palm in which Swati blamed none for the extreme step.
