76th Republic Day: State Writing New Chapters Of Investment & Industrial Development, Says MP Governor Mangubhai Patel
Speaking at the Republic Day celebrations held at Lal Parade Ground in Bhopal on Sunday, he emphasised the state’s commitment to driving economic growth and securing a brighter future for its youth.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Governor Mangubhai Patel has highlighted Madhya Pradesh's strides in investment and industrial development, describing the state as an emerging favourite destination for investors. Speaking at the Republic Day celebrations held at Lal Parade Ground in Bhopal on Sunday, he emphasised the state’s commitment to driving economic growth and securing a brighter future for its youth.
He referred to the upcoming Global Investors Summit scheduled in Bhopal next month, underscoring the state government’s efforts to ensure prosperity for farmers and empower women. He urged citizens to contribute actively towards the state's progress and adhere to the constitutional rights granted to them.
During the ceremony, the Governor hoisted the national flag, inspected the parade, released balloons, and viewed tableaux displayed by various government departments.
Governor Patel highlighted Madhya Pradesh's efforts in health, education, and women empowerment. The state is actively working to eliminate sickle cell anaemia and is leading the implementation of the National Education Policy 2020, with PM Colleges of Excellence in all 55 districts and three new universities inaugurated.
Under the Bharatiya Gyan Parampara initiative, the Ramayana and Bhagavad Gita are being introduced as alternative subjects. New Ayurvedic colleges are planned in five districts, and 530 Ayurvedic medical officers have been appointed.
On women empowerment, over 96,000 "Didis" have achieved "Lakhpati" status. The state has also enacted three pioneering criminal laws. Madhya Pradesh, already known as the "Tiger State" and "Leopard State," is now recognised as the "Cheetah State," with Ratapani declared its eighth tiger reserve.
