Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): About 35 artists from 10 countries showcased their 46 artworks on, War and Peace, theme at Swaraj Vithika in the city. They were from India, America, Canada, Scotland, Georgia, Netherlands, Philippines, Singapore, Portugal, England and South Korea.
Their works depicted the valour of army and peace. About 12 artists from Bhopal showcased their works. Brigadier Rajat Kumar's wife Lavina Kumar exhibited her works. She painted glimpse of valour, struggle and women's power seen connecting with the brave women of Operation Sindoor. “Operation Sindoor is a mission of valour, a proof of the unshakable spirit of Indian soldiers, who protect the honour of their sisters, daughters and mothers,” she said.

Organised by Art for Cause and Sudarshan Chakra Core Unit Bhopal, the three-day exhibition based on Operation Sindoor concluded on Sunday.
Founder of Art for Cause and artist Faizal Mateen said that this was the second offline painting exhibition by the group in Bhopal, in which works of artists from across the world were invited. “We got two entries from Turkey and Azerbaijan, but we didn’t accept the entries of both the countries as they supported Pakistan during Operation Sindoor,” he said, adding, “local artists were given priority in the exhibition.” A painting competition on the theme of bravery was organised for school and college students on Sunday.
