₹290 Crore Spent On Publicity Of Ladli Behna Yojna |
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The government spent a huge amount on the publicity of a welfare scheme that was useful to the government in the assembly election of 2023.
In a written reply to a question raised by legislator Atif Aqueel, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said ₹290 crore had been spent on the publicity of the scheme.
Before the assembly election, a sum of ₹260 crore was spent on the publicity of the Ladli Behna Scheme.
A sum of ₹28 crore was spent on the second most ambitious scheme, Mukhya Sikho Kamao Yojna.
Second survey not to be conducted on Yojna
New beneficiaries will not be included in the Ladli Behna Yojna. Minister for women and child welfare department Nirmala Bhuria gave the above information to the House in reply to a written question from legislator Shrikant Chaturvedi.
Chaturvedi wanted to know whether there would be the second survey of the beneficiaries whose names were left in the first survey. Bhuria said there was no such proposal.
