Skoda Kylaq Variants and Prices Announced Ahead of January 27 Deliveries

Skoda Auto India has revealed the prices and variants for its debut sub-4-meter SUV, the Kylaq. Offered in four trims - Classic, Signature, Signature+, and Prestige—the Kylaq starts at Rs 7.89 lakh for the Classic variant, while the top-end Prestige AT is priced at Rs 14.40 lakh. Bookings commenced on 2^nd December, with deliveries set to begin on January 27, 2025. As an introductory offer, the first 33,333 customers will enjoy a complimentary 3-year Standard Maintenance Package.

Skoda Kylaq is designed on the India-specific MQB-A0-IN platform, known for its high localisation and cost-efficiency. Developed collaboratively by teams from India and the Czech Republic, the platform has already delivered 5-star Global NCAP-rated models like the Kushaq and Slavia. The Kylaq is powered by a 1.0-litre TSI engine generating 113 bhp and 178 Nm of torque, offering a top speed of 188 km/h and a 0-100 km/h sprint time of 10.5 seconds with the manual gearbox.

Transmission options include a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic with paddle shifters. Safety features are extensive, with over 25 systems such as six airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, ISOFIX mounts, and rollover protection, ensuring a secure drive. This combination of safety, performance, and localisation strengthens Škoda's commitment to the Indian market.

Skoda Kylaq enters the sub-4m SUV segment with compact yet practical dimensions. It measures 3,995mm in length, 1,783mm in width, and 1,619mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,566mm ensuring a spacious cabin. A ground clearance of 189mm adds to its road presence and versatility. There are seven colours on offer – Tornado Red, Brilliant Silver, Candy White, Carbon Steel, Lava Blue, Deep Black and the Kylaq exclusive Olive Gold.
