White House Crane Operator Caught Napping While His Co-Workers Shook Hands With US President Donald Trump (VIDEO)

A crane operator was spotted dozing off during an event to mark the installation of two new giant flagpoles on the grounds of the White House, each measuring 100ft (30.5m) in height, on Wednesday.

Trump was present when the flagpoles were erected by workers on the North and South Lawns of the White House.

A video of a crane operator napping inside the crane at the time when Trump was meeting with the workers after the installation of the flagpoles has gone viral on social media.

Trump was seemingly unaware that the man was napping and continued meeting and posing for pictures with other workers.

Trump said the two large flag poles were his gift because it was something that was always missing. "It is a GIFT from me of something which was always missing from this magnificent place," Trump said on Truth Social.
